Good Fences Thursday - 6/12/14 "North Park" again

Good Fences Thursday challenges us to post an image of a fence or gate each week.

Last week I posted a photo of a playground in a park where I walk often. On the same day I took that photo, I did a 180º turn and snapped this photo.

At the center of the background, you can barely see a batting cage.  Next week, I'll post a photo of it and the fence around the baseball field.

Lovely park fence. The batting cage looks a little "sci fi" in the background.

I like how that just wraps around the corner.

Some good sized timbers were used to build this fence. It should last for quite awhile.

that fence is a beauty and it sure looks like a heavy duty one..too

That looks like a heavy duty fence...one you would not want to run into with a vehicle.

Thanks for your comments everyone. Several people pointed out the sturdiness of the fence. It's difficult to see, but besides the wood, there is dark green chain link fencing attached to the inner side of it. So it is, indeed, sturdy.

That is one handsome park ... would be nice to live close to it, especially if you had children. Great pictures CJ ...

That's a really sturdy fence! No chance of it rotting away anyway soon.
