BREAKING DAWN

All four photos were taken just after 7:00 AM on 11/26/11 in western Pennsylvania. As I was driving, at first I saw a bright red glow at the base of trees on the horizon. I pulled over to take photos.  As I watched, the sky changed from almost black to pink and blue in less than four minutes.

Your sky shots are absolutely stunning, but I cannot post your comment as it contains a link.

Thanks for the visit and God bless.

Beautiful amazing colors...... especially love the silhouette of the trees in the light.

Yes, it goes fast, the sunset and the change of colors, good idea to stop and admire and photograph.

Amazing sky colors! And great composition :)

The sky color varies so much from location to location. Here on the dusty plains it is much more orange and less purple.

BTW, re your comments. I also haven't been doing much with Mama Kat. She has gotten so commercial and more and more mommy blogger oriented - which obviously leaves me out. {*grin*}

To Dan:

Yes, I agree. Mama Kat's writing prompts are directed mostly to parents, specifically mothers. I can usually find a topic to write about, but I feel obligated to comment on others' writings ---and frankly, not being a parent myself, I cannot think of a thing to say about a post that is all about someone's children. Most people fail to realize that their own children aren't so brilliant or adorable to anyone else.

I wrote a couple of posts about my pets, knowing that no one would appreciate them much, for the same reason I don't appreciate stories about other people's children.

When I comment, I always search for the male participants ---but now that you don't contribute, I would bet the participation is close to 100% female.
