The back of our house faces the back of a grocery store. Fifty years ago, it might have been considered a supermarket, but by today's standards there is nothing "super" about it. I call it the "unsupermarket." It is a nice store with friendly people. It is certainly convenient because I can be there and back in five minutes if I need something quickly.
When I noticed this large stack of palettes on the store's loading dock, I snapped a few photos of them especially for Blue Monday.

I saw a blog post someone had a while back, they had taken a pallet....hung it on the wall (a large wall) and used it as a shelf....now when I tell you it looked great...I kid you not...it was really nice looking. Maybe you could snatch a few and try it out!! Have a great Blue Monday.

I've used palettes for all kinds of things. Ages ago, I worked on the display for the annual Craftmen's Guild of Pittsburgh exhibit. I got the idea to use palettes which we borrowed from a trucking company. We stacked them in various ways and placed pottery, sculptures, metal work and other crafts on them ---and everyone loved the exhibit. I also had a small one that I hung on the wall at home. I hammered nails into it at a slight angle and hung spools of thread on it above my sewing machine.
This was the first time I have seen blue ones ---and a red one, too.
Loved your photograph of the stacked palettes, so artistic. The only time I've ever thought to use a palette was to raise a table so that it was at the right height for me to work at. I'll have to be more creative in future!
Thanks for visiting Normandy and have a happy Blue Monday.
Looks like the stack of palettes will fall.
Good ti have a store next door. MB
Well the best to do is see the artistic side of it, and it seems so!
This is an artistic shot. Good thinking! Happy Blue Monday.
Great photo! Perhaps a Metamorphosis Monday is in the future with some of the ideas suggested for use of palettes. Thanks for stopping by my Blue Monday post.

I love that, "unsupermarket". It must be great to be so handy, though.
Good eye.
Have a Happy day!

The colors of those palates are really unusual. You have a great eye.
I hope you are having a wonderful day.
I've not seen them in colors before. Color sure takes them from boring to interesting.
