The day after the blizzard that dumped 23 inches of snow in our yard, the sun came out and the snow, reflecting the cloudless sky, turned blue. Around 5:00 pm, when the sun was low in the sky, I snapped these shadow shots.

I had forgotten about Escher when I did that! Thank for visiting. Your first shot looks like a cloud, at first! Nice snow shots - our snow is disappearing now tho it is still very much in evidence in places like Washington, DC

When melting-time comes
at last, might runs the stream
of deep snowfalls past.

Even though I'm ready for all this snow to vanish now, your photos have reminded me how beautiful it can be when it's new-fallen and fresh. Lovely shadow shots!
Have a great Sunday,

Really gorgeous captures of the snowfall. I love seeing snow on the trees.

I had to do a double take when I saw the houses in the middle photo. The nearest one looks very similar to the house I grew up in. Must have been a popular design style.

Thanks for visiting my Shadow Shot post and for your nice comment.

Stay warm!

CJ -

Great shots.

It's snowing like crazy here in SE MI. We're probably getting 6" or so, this time around. Everything closeable is closed.

We may indeed be kindred spirits. I posted more on taxation in the Reagan era last night. (Things you can do while watching Olympic hockey.)

Cheers!
