Lazing in the shade,
Looking toward the sky,
Resting in my hammock,
Watching clouds roll by.
Hearing robins twitter,
Seeing shades of green,
Feeling gentle breezes,
Prizing the fair scene.
Fearing green might cease,
Hoping it will stay.
Saving verdant earth,
To live a new green day.
